Brown Table Talks
54 questions that spark incredible conversation
Asking deep questions can often raise suspicion about hidden motives, but using a pre-made card deck removes that uncertainty, opening the door to genuine, vulnerable conversations.
God can do the most in you and through you when you step outside of your comfort zone :)

The Specifics
Questions from the deck are designed to delve into the themes of individual human experiences, faith, church, romantic relationships, family, culture, and friendships.
While the decks were crafted with the South Asian Christian community in mind and on our hearts, they are not limited to this group. “The Brown Table” transcends skin color and a literal brown table. Within the pack, questions can be applied to all ethnicities (especially minority and immigrant populations).
Our hope is that these cards and our overall ministry will empower South Asian individuals to gather with both South Asian and multiethnic groups across the country, foster conversations, and build community.
Why we need Brown Table Talks at each of our tables
In our community (both South Asian & Christian) we often lack authentic conversations that grow and build relationships. It’s easy for us to stay surface level, never fully diving in and taking the risk to be known. God didn’t just design us for community, he designed us for deep community. To function as a family and unified body. Whether our interactions are mandatory, social, or involve familiar “family friends,” these encounters can often remain at a superficial level. Brown Table talks is created to help break the superficiality of conversations with those around you.
God has given each of us a story, our testimony with both highs and lows. Getting to know the stories of those around us, brings the truest form of connection there is on this earth. It’s what makes us feel seen, heard, loved.
The Challenge:
We challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone, invest the time, use these cards, and see what God will do.
Truly, try to incorporate it into your already existing, daily life!
As you use the cards, snap a pic, take a video and share your experience with us.
